Fortunately, our organization has eagerly undertaken the social responsibility of providing alternative educational opportunities for female students around the world, with a particular focus on those from developing countries. Based on funding, Benignant De Eagle, Inc. will provide the opportunity for a select number of girls each year to enroll in institutions of higher learning in the United States. We plan to work with colleges and universities to secure enrollment, class registration, room and board accommodations, tuition assistance, books and needed educational materials to enable them continue their education and achieve their goals and dreams that may not have been attainable without support.
We are currently working with universities to develop an agreement that allows a certain number of students, primarily girls to attend classes to achieve at least an associate’s or a bachelor’s degree at the university. We plan to expand and work with as many schools as possible. Ideally we would like the schools we work with to allow students attend classes at a heavily discounted rate, but we plan to fund any academic expenses not covered by the institution. Not only do we want to be a use for their financial and academic needs, but we also want to be a one-stop shop for any other needs or concerns they may have. We will partner with other organizations to obtain other resources needed by the students to succeed in school.
Benignant De Eagle, Inc. currently has a representative in Nigeria who will facilitate the recruiting of initial applicants from that region. Applications will be turned in to this representative, after which it will be submitted to our selection committee. Students will be chosen based on their academic efficiency as well as demonstration of financial need. We will require academic records, and some sort of proof of income or living situation. Students must also meet any university academic requirements for acceptance.
Throughout implementation of the proposed activities our organization will continue to address the needs of our target communities, to brighten lives, and to assist in girls academic achievement.
